Our Product development unit is following Agile/ SCRUM methodology including Story Points which is an Agile estimation technique.
Do you know any big organizations which are implementing this combination of Agile and Function Points?

Within the company we have several applications that are accessed by the users through a front office portal.
The portal is a web portal that each time serves more than 1 application.
The portals are integrated which means that data is being passed to and from the related applications without the user seeing which application he is actually working in.

Do you count the portal as 1 application ?

Do you only count the transactions related to each linked application ?

How do you handle counting portals ?

It is user-identifiable from each applications

There is a table, that is referenced by other modules. But the data in the table is maintained by developer in the database management tool manually rather than any transctional function.

Can we count the table as an ILF, EIF or nothing?

For application B is to be counted only visible part..

1 ILF with 1 RET, 8 DETs

How can we use an Analysis Model (business object model, use case, etc.) to count a project automaticly and properly?
